Mine explodes in Eastern Turkey, killing one soldier
16 07 2010Mine exploded in the eastern province of Van on Thursday, killing one soldier.
Mine, earlier planted on the rural area in Van’s Gurpinar town by the terrorist organization PKK, went off when security forces were tracking down terrorists.
One soldier died, another was wounded in the blast. The injured soldier was taken under treatment in a military hospital in Van.
