Turkish police detain new suspects in KCK case

Six people were detained in Van on Tuesday as part of the Kurdish Communities Union, or KCK, investigation while the defense requested the recusal of the judge at the most recent hearing held in Diyarbakır.

Police simultaneously raided various addresses in the Erciş district of eastern Van province and detained six including Ramazan Alver, Erciş branch head of the pro-Kurdish Peace and Democracy Party, or BDP.
